ok - so I posted the other day about all the RATS in our garage...

and how BECAUSE of those rats my husband's car - we have to pay out $560 to get fixed - one of the rats got into the engine and chewed up a wire in the transmission (he parked it in the garage)...

well - we are having the critter control come out tomorrow.

on top of that he had to go to court over a very stupid traffic violation and we had to pay out $200 for that...(luckily his license is still ok, for now...)

AND i've been stressing out because long story short - but I got promoted last year in july - training was supposed to be 6 months then I'd get my full promotion which will be $11,000 more per year than i'm making during training (and about $600 more per month)...well because me and the other girl who started with me got our training screwed up by the managers - it's been pushed and technically shoulda happened in january - but isn't happening now til next month! and even though this is technically a higher paying position than my last position, i sorta took a "pay cut" due to the fact that my last position was hourly with TONS of overtime and this one (which i LOVE) is salary but NO overtime. so even though i took the job of my dreams KNOWING i'd get the higher salary in 6 months - i had to take my "pay cut" of no overtime and now i'm STILL not getting the promotion as it was promised before the wedding...

(now, granted, things will get better after next month when the promotion goes through and new salary should start in june - just in time for the wedding to be over! lol)

BUT on top of ALLLLL of that. I was backing out of my parking spot at work this afternoon and totally didn't even see the car behind me and hit her. :(!!!!!!!!

now - i did more damage to my own car than to hers and in fact honestly looked like I barely buffed her car - which i'm hoping and praying to god there's no damage - but obviously i gave her my information and insurance and all that.

but seriously i just want to run away and stop being an adult!!!!

thanks i just REALLLLLLLLLLY needed to vent.

I'm sorry girl that sounds awful!

Well, they say bad things come in threes so 1. rat situation 2. ticket situation 3. parking lot incedent.

Seriously though I hope things start looking up for you. Just remember you're going to be MARRIED in 3 months! Yay!!

all I can say today - Today is a new day. :)

course I keep telling myself - it COULD have been much worse - I coulda actually hit some BODY...or it coulda been a car of someone I knew or it coulda been a big boss! THAT woulda sucked more than anything!

But the woman is very nice - I emailed her all my insurance information this morning and emailed my own insurance agent as well. (i'm too honest of a person and terrified of karma, lol)

But again. Today is a new day. Things in general with everything coulda been worse - but they're not. And we have a wedding in 3 months! I just need to concentrate on that and look forward to the most wonderful day of our life!

ok - so seriously it can STOP pouring!

just found out an acquantance of mine here at work passed away. 39 years old. Diabetic coma. :(

I JUST saw her on friday! now we weren't close friends or anything - but we did weight watchers at work together a few years back - she sends me funny emails all the time - and every time I see her we stop and chat and she always has the BIGGEST smile on her face.

ugh. :(

I just hope she's in a better place now.
