I would recommend that you change after your first dance.  But, others may have different ideas.

I also have a reception dress and have decided to change into it after all the “formal” stuff is done. aka Father daughter dance, cake cutting, first dance. Then its all my marilyn Monroe famous look a like white dress! I thought having myself still in my stunning wedding gown for the formal stuff is the best bet. I’m sure you will be stunning no matter what you decide ๐Ÿ™‚ best of luck!

How funny those were the types of dress i was thinking of! We dance salsa and i actually have a very sexy marilyn dress too…but ithought I’d be sad to be out of my wedding dress…It’s so funny to see brides getting jiggy with it in their big ol dresses!

Hi!  Can you please tell me where and how I can purchase this reception dress?  I am in love with this dress and would love to wear it during my wedding reception  on December 1, 2012 in Puerto Rico.

THANK YOU!!!

I did it after my bouquet/garter toss.
