No you're not overreacting at all. I'd say email her now and just ask what the status was and ask if she has any pictures. Make something up like, you just want to see the colors because you're finalizing your linens and you want the colors to look right together.
I would contact her again and just tell her that you're having "second thoughts" and would appreciate pictures to calm your nerves. You're paying this person and no matter how busy they are, you have every right to see what you're paying for! If she gives you an excuse, be blunt and tell her you need to see them to verify they are what you're looking for.
Think of it this way, how mortified and flustered would you be if you didn't say anything, received the flowers and they were nothing what you were looking for or described? I know if it were me heads would be rolling, and then finding someone who can make your dream a reality would be hard pressed this late in the game.
Hope this helps!
Thanks ladies. Knowing that I'm not being SUPER-IRRATIONAL-BRIDE has given me a bit of a boost to write to her. Here's hoping I get to see photos! ;)

Hello hive!
So basically, I booked my florist way back in September. FH and I suffer from mild hayfever and we don't have a huge budget to allocate for flowers so we arranged for a woman to make up our bouquets/bouts from natural touch silk flowers. She's based in the USA and we're in the UK.
We've already paid and signed the contract. The florist is super nice and has been really good at contacting me whenever I've written to her. The only thing is, she hasn't sent us any photos of what she's made. I understand that she runs a business and she has other brides to cater to before me, but my flowers are meant to be shipped on May 14th, 2 weeks from today, and I haven't heard from her since Feb when I asked for an update and she replied, "All is going to schedule".
I don't want to seem like a pushy bride but I'm also concerned that I haven't heard from her and I haven't seen any pictures or had any updates in 3 months. Am I overreacting? This is pretty much the only aspect of the wedding that I don't have some sort of control over and I stage manage theatre for a living so I'm pretty used to being the centre of planning and communication.
Should I give it until a week before the expected ship date and email her again? Should I just leave it? I'm overreacting aren't I? Sorry, I just need some outside eyes on this one. FH is starting to glaze over whenever I mention flowers now.
