(Closed) when should i give my two weeks? or should i give a three week notice?!

@missebelle:  Do you know now for sure that you are definitely moving early? If you know it’ll definitely be happening, then give them notice ASAP. This way you’ll look very responsibile and loyal to the company and you can use them as a reference once you are looking for a job in CA.

@missebelle:  I think the notice you give will be dependant on your company policy, and what they recommend. Do not feel if you have give more because you feel bad, and certainly do not give any less.

From there, when you turn in your resignation letter, usually beginning on the day of any notice, explicitly detail the beginning date of the notice, and your last day worked as well.
