    Hi Bees,

I just found the July board and I'm so excited!  I'm getting married on July 22nd but I need help figuring out when I should send my invitations.  Also, what should I make the RSVP date be?

Thanks for your help and happy planning!

I am thinking about sending them out mid-late april and hoping for the rsvps in mid-late May. At least that is my game plan right now.

I'm putting mine in the mail May 1st with a June 1st rsvp. We need final numbers and payment to our venue for catering 3 weeks before. This should give me a 2 week cushion to track down the people who didn't respond.

I'm sending mine out mid-April (I can't believe that's next month!!AHH!), and am asking for RSVPs by June 25. (We don't have vendors who need a final count, except for the rentals.)

I have mine started..but seeing that April is only a few weeks away...I'd better get hopping!

I am sending mine out May 1st and handing out almost 1/3 the weekend before at our Easter Gathering.  My RSVP deadline is July 1st.

I can't believe it's almost time for us to start sending them out!!!

My venue requires final counts 2 weeks before the wedding, so I am planning on having my RSVP due 1 week before that, and then I will spend the week in between calling and following up people who haven't responded. I plan on giving my invitees about 6 weeks to respond.

I think we are going to make them in April (got a DYI kit) and mail them out on the first of May.

I am sending mine out mid-May with an RSVP deadline of June 25th. That gives me 2 weeks to collect any missing responses before my final numbers are due for catering etc. I sent my STDs out in September since we have so many OOT guests so everyone is already aware of the date.

I'm sending mine in mid-April with an RSVP date of June 1st. I come from a family of stragglers and I know I will have to hunt people down endlessly so I am getting them out as soon as I can within reason.

Thanks this was very helpful!  Based on all the responses, I'll probably send mine out the last week of April or first week of May and plan for a June 25th RSVP.

If you guys are buying your invitations online, what website are you getting them from?  I've ordered samples from www.WeddingPaperDivas.com but haven't purchased anything yet.

I had planned on sending mine out mid April... BUT they arrived two weeks ago, and I was so excited I addressed them all over two wkds (DIY calligraphy)... Then yesterday I was too excited to keep them so I had to send them out! lol. I had such little will power keeping them for an extra month! lol :)

I agree—I will probably send in early May and try to get RSVPs by June 20-something.

I put my mom in charge of invitations. But she'll probably send them out at the beginning of May. I imagine the RSVP date will be mid-June.

    I'm sooo excited :)

My wedding is at the very beginning of July and I just sent mine out. I know it's early, but we had a lot of considerations. 1) The hotels where we're reserving space will release the rooms by June 2. 2) Half of our guest list is traveling for the wedding 3) Because our wedding is small we're doing an A and B list and need the A list RSVPs back in plenty of time to send invites tot he B list. So, yeah, quite a bit early, but it's exciting to already get back RSVPs! :)
