We’ve invited my mom to come help us out for a month when the twins are born. We both want her there as we know she’ll be really helpful–she loves to cook and clean and isn’t the kind of person who we would have to ‘host’… I’m also really looking forward to it since my parents live in a remote part of Eastern Indonesia, so I don’t get to see them very often!
I’m just wondering when would be the best timing for that visit. They say twins are considered full-term at 37 weeks and that they’d rather not let me go past 38 weeks because it’s apparently riskier for the babies beyond that point. They also say it’s common to go into labour before 37 weeks. SO… if you were me, when would you want her to come? 37 weeks? It would be nice to have her around a little before they’re born since I will probably be miserably large at that stage, but not sure when that should be since it’s hard to predict with twins. Would you say 37 weeks, a bit later, or a bit before?
