Well, that can depend. I know with cruises, the earlier you book, the better because you can get better rates. For all inclusives,  maybe you want to look and see when there is a sale. Maybe talk to a travel agent and see what they say. They know the best times to book.

Our travel agent could not see specials until 6 months before our date. We pretty much booked as soon as we were able. We booked in January and got married in July.

I’m an April bride and plan on booking my honeymoon around 6 months out. We are doing something within the US and driving rather than flying. If you are doing something within the US you can probably get away with booking 6 months out. I would look into booking flights on a sight that gives you some money back if anybody books a flight after you for a lower price. I can’t remember what site does that…

If you are going through a travel agency I would ask them what they think is best.

We usually recommend 6 to 9 months out. Even if the specials aren’t posted yet, we’re typically able to adjust the booking if a better promo comes out on the land after you’ve booked. Dependent upon how your agent books it, they should be able to change it up if needed.

good luck!
