I wanted to start making my centerpieces or just get all the materials ahead of time so that I can jump on it when the mood strikes.

I plan on making manzanita branch centerpieces and I am contemplating on buying the red natural branches now (since bloomsandbranches has a special now with shipping included) and I'm wondering if its too soon. How long do these things last?

Also I want to use a mixed variety of vases & planters ranging from 6" tall to 9" tall.  Do you thing the 18"-24" size would be big enough or should I go a size larger?

    Opinions please!!

I would just get them now - it'll take you a while to make the centerpieces, and then you'll have more time to decide if you need any additional filler branches without rushing shipments. They do take up a LOT of storage space though, so be prepared for that. Also, i'd order a few extra branches in case some have broken pieces or aren't as full and need filler. (I used them as my centerpiece too).

I emailed Blooms and Branches (www.bloomsandbranches.com) about how long they last, and they said they last indefinitely and they will split a little like southernbride14 said, but they will not break off. They said the 18"-24" and the 30" tall ones are the most popular.
