Sometimes they are really busy and will get back to you as soon as they can. I would wait a couple more days and try calling again.
Thanks, haha. I tend to get a little antsy when I have to wait for important stuff...case in point: I e-mailed my measurements to the dressmaker yesterday morning (around 11) and am a little nervous because I haven't heard anything yet!
I'd say call next Monday; that's a week. Giving her a week is more than generous--if she hasn't responded by then, then you're totally cool to call again!
I'd wait until Friday or next Monday. I'd at least give them a week to get everything sorted out.
I guess I'm wondering what needs to be sorted out, per se...I mean, we just left a message with a phone number asking if she's available for our date. That could easily be figured out over the phone...right?
If I were in your shoes I would wait a week (even though I get antsy and want responses instantly).
I alway give a week for first contact. So, just hold your horses :-)

FH called the only JP in town who can do Friday weddings yesterday and left a message (this was at about 10 AM), and we haven't heard anything yet. I'm thinking of either asking him to try calling again or calling myself later this week, but I'm not sure when to do it.
We really need to get the ball rolling on this one ASAP because the rest of our timeline hinges on when she can do the ceremony--eep! When should we try calling again?
