First off I should mention that I am having a destination wedding on a cruise ship.
So I got my girls a weekender bag to use as their carry on bag. It is personalized with their monogram. I also got each of the a tumbler with their name and bridesmaid on it. I was planning on giving it to them this weekend at my shower then giving them their jewery the night before the wedding.
Is this ok to do? Or should I wait and give it all to them before the wedding. The only problem would be that they could not use the bag if I did this.

are you having a rehearsal dinner? You can do it then…

Not really. We are all staying in a hotel near the cruise terminal the night before and we will all go to dinner but it is not a formal rehearsal.
I should mention that the bridesmaids are comming on the cruise with us.

Or you can do a little “bridesmaid luncheon” with them before the big day and give it to them then! That is what i am doing!

I would give it to them right before the cruise! That way they can use it on the ship, and then save the jewellery until the night before. 🙂

I’m giving mine to the ladies the night before, with the exception being the Maid/Matron of Honor because I got a few extra things for her – so I’m going to gift her special things to her when she gets into town a few days before the wedding. 🙂
