When are you giving out your bridesmaids gifts (or any party member, for that matter)? I was planning on giving everyone their gifts at the rehearsal dinner, but I’m afraid it’s going to start looking like Christmas with all the gifts we are handing out (GM, BMs, guest book attendant, FG, RB, parents, g-rents). Plus, I don’t want all that clutter to get in the way of food. When do you think is the best time?

I think I’m going to give them out the morning while getting ready too. I’m just kind of a shy person and don’t feel like making a show out of it during the rehearsal dinner with lots of people around.

Rehearsal dinner. But I know what you mean about it looking like Christmas… but maybe just wait til everyone is standing up and the old people have left?

I did mine at the rehearsal dinner, though if we had had a bridal luncheon, I might have gone with that. We didn’t give things out one at a time though – gifts for bridal party and parents got handed out all together, so it wasn’t a huge slow process.

I gave my BMs their gifts between the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner because it wasn’t something they needed for the wedding day. On the day of the wedding, I gave them their emergency tote bags.
