I’d suggest trying to get back on after your period this month, as maybe waiting until September’s cycle would be pushing it a little. Then you’ll be able to regulate for a month (aug-sept), get adjusted to it and know it should be working (sept-oct), and then be able to shuffle your pill pack around to re-time your period when it comes to November.

I’m not a doc or anything of the sort, but from what I know of BC, I think it’s good practice to start at least a month ahead of when you’ll NEED it to be relialbe, and if you want to shift your period around, you’ll want to make sure your body is cool with the pills.

ETA- If you have to go back to the OB/GYN to get a prescription, he/she would be able to help you determine the best way to move your period around so that it’s not on your wedding date.

my doctor has told me you need a few months for your body to adjust and for the pills to be most effective so I would go back on this month that way you have enough time. I would ask the doctor which day to start so that your period free for your wedding
