I am making my own fake flower bouquets and bridesmaids gifts. When should I have those two things done by? I’m afraid I will have done too early if I do it now (8 months left) or I could change my mind about how I want things to look. I also don’t want it done to close to the wedding date bc I don’t want to be a nervous wreck about everything that will still need to be done and paid for.

My fake bouquets (bridesmaid AND my own) didn’t get done until two days before the wedding. It was a bit stressful. And I wasn’t even the one making them. Haha. If you are doing it all yourself, I would say have them done about 2 months before your wedding. You could even do it earlier if you’d like – just make sure that you finish them and then put them out of sight. If they are out of sight, you’re less likely to change your mind and want to do something different to them.
As far as the gifts go, I think it depends on what they are. If it’s something time consuming that you have to make, I would say the exact same thing as the bouquets – 2 months before or earlier and have them out of sight.

TogetherThroughLife: Thank you! Yes, keeping them out of sight will be a good thing! I am making my bridesmaids bracelets, makeup bags, and those cool hangers. I am getting alot of my supplies from hobby lobby when they go on sale. I just don’t know what all will still beed to be done around the 2 month mark. :/
