I was in a wedding last year where the soloist sang while the bride was walking down the aisle with her dad. It was a really nice touch and didn't take away from her at all. You could also have your cousin sing while you and your FI sign the marriage license or you could just turn and watch/listen which I've also seen done before. You could have the soloist sing while the bridesmaids enter. It's really up to you!
we had our soloist sing while we signed the license. i know that a lot of people dont do it during the ceremony, but it worked out really well and it meant we were legally married during our ceremony, which for us was sort of the point.

I would like a certain song sung by my cousin, but I don't want to do a unity candle/ceremony. What do we do while she's singing? Could I have her sing while the bridesmaids come in, or would people be confused?
