I’m getting married 3 hours away from where I currently live. Two years ago, I didn’t get back to visit my parents (in the same area where I will be having my wedding) from Christmas until March due to winter storms and snow. Is October too early to sign a florist contract? How late is too late? Tehre is only 1 florist in the area so I don’t wan tto wait too long!

In my city, they start booking up a year out. Cincinatti would be less competitive, but I don’t think now is too early at all! Do it! Especially if you know what you want, why wait?

I don’t think cincinnati would be competitive, but we’re actually getting married in small-town southeast ohio, where there are fewer florists (and only one that deliviers to our venue!) so I will order as soon as I am able!

i ordered mine about 5 months before and that was fine! But, if it’s a small town and it’s the only florist, you may want to do it sooner rahter than later

I’d book as soon as possible. You won’t actually “order” anything until like a week before the wedding, though, but you will draw up a plan to later be confirmed so that the flowers can actually be ordered right before the wedding.

I’d do it asap if you know exactly which florist you want to use. I think ours just required a $1-200 deposit to hold them for that day.
