So our wedding is now less than two weeks away (EEK)!!

The wedding is 500km away from where we live and there are a few last minute things we have to do when we get there, so we are leaving to go to the wedding location no later than Wednesday next week.

For our favors, we are making s'mores kits, which guests will be able to make and eat during our "cocktail hour".

We have packaging, all we have to do is buy the marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers, which should be no problem.

My question is, when should we put them together?

    - Should we buy the supplies and put them together this weekend?

    - Or should we buy the supplies and put them together on Thursday when we're at the location?

On one hand, I'd rather get it out of the way this weekend so that when I get there I can focus on other things, but on the other hand we will have to transport all the finished s'mores packages plus all the other stuff we have to bring, and I'm kind of worried about freshness too.

I would say as close to the wedding as possible, just because marshmallows go stale pretty quickly if not sealed really well!  That's such a cute favor idea!

our edible favor was jordan almonds in pillowboxes. because the boxes werent airtight we put them together  a few days before the wedding. So if you have the chance to the do it the week of the wedding that will make the crackers stay fresh and crunchy rather than going soft and stale, unless you have airtight packaging for it
