FI's sister just had her wedding shower not too long ago and we received the invite a month before, which I believe is pretty standard.
Traditional southern etiquette is to allow for at least two shopping Saturdays prior to the event.
i just received one about 6 weeks before the event. if you have many out of town people, make sure to give them extra time.

What is an appropriate time to send invitations for a bridal shower? 1 month before the date? 6 weeks before the date? Sooner/later? Thanks!
