We have set up a Honeyfund for any guests who would like to make a contribution towards our Honeymoon (just to be clear we have NOT directly asked for money, we have made it clear we are not asking for gifts because we already live together, however the option is there if the guests wish to contribute).
The Wedding is in October and guests wishing to contribute can purchase elements of our honeymoon on the website (i.e watersport activity, spa treatments) and then bring donations by cash or cheque to the wedding. We are fortunate and very flattered to already have a couple of contributions listed on our Honeyfund website.
I don’t feel comfortable waiting until October to send Thank You cards, however we won’t physically receive the contribution until the wedding date. So I guess my question is, should I send a Thank You card now, bearing in mind guests are may well wish to withdraw/amend their listed contribution at anytime?
