Hi bees! Fiance and I are going to whitening our teeth for our wedding. Our teeth aren’t too bad, but would like them a little whiter for pictures and whatnot. We are probably going to use Crest Whitestrips, but I’m not sure which variety of those (there are so many!)
Right now we are about 2 months out. When should we start whitening? Maybe a better question would be, how long before the wedding date should we plan to be finished with whitening?

I used the 14 day kit before and it worked great. If its 30 days, start it 30 days before!! Its good if you can use the last one the day of your wedding. Im planning on doing that!

Maybe finish a week before? I got crest whitestrips too and have already started, I will be done with that pack mid march, and plan to do another 2 weeks worth, not that I really need it, but it will make me feel better 🙂 I will do that 3 weeks before the wedding!

I do mine every 3 months, but they are always at their absolute whitest the first month. So try to start as close to the wedding as you can!

I say one month out. The whitening I know of in a two week course and lasts three month but the first couple of weeks at least it looks unnaturally white. No-ones teeth are pureest white naturally, so I personally would want them to be newly whitened. If that makes sense.

I would start 2-3 months out because your teeth may be too sensitive to use everyday as is directed. You may have to wait a few days in between to let the sensitivity go away before the next strip is applied. Sensodyne is helpful if this happens, as does staying away from whitening toothpaste while using the white strips.

I’d say one month out as well, and on plan for it! LOL

I’d say one month out. (Dental Assistant for 15 yrs) I personally love the white strips as opposed to office bleaching. (I have sensitive teeth) If you experience any sensitivity, try using a fluoride rinse like ACT. =)
