I have bought some OPK tests off of amazon, they are the first reponse ones. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it matter what time of day you test with OPK? I know for pregnancys the best time of day is the morning…..is this the same with OPKs? Thank you! 🙂

You should try testing twice a day, morning and night. For some women, the LH surge can last only a few hours, and if you’re only testing once/day, you may miss it. Once you have gone through a few cycles and know your regular LH surge length, you may be able to test less often. Also, if you’re just testing once/day, it shouldn’t really matter when as long as you’ve been holding your urine for a few hours. It just needs to be concentrated enough for the hormone to show up.

Agreed with the PP. For the record, I found the First Response test hard to really tell what a positive was. When my OPK was positive on a Wondfo and a Clearblue Easy Digital OPK, it was negative on my First Response ones. Consider switching next cycle. GL! Hope they work for you!
