- Wedding: June 2010
So, we’re in a bit of a different situation, where on top of our wedding party, we also have an honour guard. This is a group of six of my FI’s coworkers that will hold swords in an arch during the recessional.
We have bought each of them a giftcard as a thankyou for playing that role in our wedding, and well deserved since they’ll likely be standing in 100 degree weather in full wool tunics!
The issue is that these people likely won’t all attend the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner, since it’s a work night for many, so that’s not an option as a time to give out the cards.
This is the question then… should we give them them AT the wedding so those who didn’t get it at the rehearsal dinner won’t feel left out?? Include them in our thankyou cards later? Seems weird to include a gift in a card thanking someone for a gift…
This is probably way easier than I’m making it, but I think I have an attack of bride brain…
