Pretty much everything in the past few weeks since we are nearing the 100 day mark.  I’m totally one of those who was bragging she was way ahead of the game and now feel like I’m behind! LOL

@icanhearyousmile:  Since we got engaged and married in less than two months, there wasn’t a lot of time to dwell on things, but I remember running into the Brick Wall of Grown Up Shit when we went to get our marriage license…shit was real after we picked that thing up.

Mine was the day after my shower. I was in tears having such a breakdown. (I don’t handle change well.)

Mine was yesterday morning, about 0645 when my OOT friend said that she was totally able to come and was looking at hotels. Suddenly I was in full panic mode. FI talked me down but I was like HOLY SUGAR WE GET MARRIED NEXT MONTH!

I work in software and we released a new product update earlier in the summer.  I do a lot of testing and we often need to make accounts with fake names/email addresses to run tests.  I was running into a wall figuring out hilarious names to use, so I decided “Hey, I’m just going to use my married name on this testing account”.  When I saw an account and email bearing my future name, it hit me.  My coworkers continue to make fun of me because this happened several months into being engaged, well after I had started booking vendors and various DIY projects.

Ours occurred about two weeks prior to our wedding, after we met with our photographer at our venue.  After our meeting, we came outside to the parking lot to go our separate ways (my DH lived several hours away from me, in another state, and our venue was semi-destination for both of us), and it really hit us that, in two weeks, we would be standing on the terrace (which we could see a bit from where we were standing) for our own wedding.  It was a surreal moment for both of us.

Mine wasn’t until I was standing in the Bridal suite with my dress on alone (finally)… and I heard the Song “I’m in love with the Girl” by Luke Bryan start to play that all the Guys were walking down the aisle to.

It finally hit me… Holy crap this is it, i’m really getting married. Then I got to leave the room and my Dad was standing there waiting for me. I lost it before i even walked down the aisle.

Planning to me was just a list of projects, it was stressful.

Although my dress fitting did it for me a little too. but it really didn’t HIT me until day of.
