Im getting married in October, 6 2012.I would love it if we could get all of the people involved done with deciding, ordering the dresses and tux's.

I was thinking of having everybody go in October of this year.

My wedding dress will take 16 weeks,so I kind of dont want to wait to order for the rest of the party,if it takes that long for the outfits to come back, especially if alterations are needed..I should have asked how long it would take for the other girls and guys clothes. But I didnt think about that at the time.

So anyway, when did you or when will you have the guys and ladies go in and pick the outfits and put in the order??

How early is too early??How late is too late??Thanks ladies.

When I went dress shopping for my BMs I was told that they should order their dresses no later than 6 months until the wedding. I'm getting married in April and they have until October of this year to order them. I don't think the guys are supposed to order their tuxes until about 4-5 months out from the wedding.

It never hurts to start looking early though. If your girls don't change sizes often and aren't expecting to get pregnant they could order dresses whenever they want. Personally I wouldn't require mine to order earlier than the 6-7 month mark just in case they do gain/lose weight or become pregnant.

It's certainly a good thing to think about. Most BM dresses take way less time to come in than the wedding dress. It will depend on where you get your dresses from so make sure you ask your bridal consultant.
