For me, I have a 14 hour flight each way for my wedding (and vacation back home in the US.) I decided to buy an extra battery for my laptop.
I’m a bad flier, I have a rough time sleeping if I manage it at all, and I literally have anxiety flashback nightmares about the last 3 times I’ve done this flight. The difference between 4 hours of special comfort TV and 8 is absolutely massive to my mental health.
So that battery was expensive as hell, but I know that when I’m 4-5 hours into my marathon and swapping a dead one out for a fresh one, I’ll be grateful to my past self.
Do you ever have that feeling buying something? Like you’re hesitant to do it… even though you know you have to… and you’ll be glad you did, but man does it hurt to fork over that cash right at this instant.
What has made you feel this way?
