Depends on how long the thread is.
Depends on how many pages of responses there are, how strongly I feel about the topic, if I feel like writing out a long, thought-out response or just a short one, etc.
Also it depends on who replied.
There needs to be a middle option on your poll! I do if there aren’t already a ton of replies and/or if it is a highly touchy subject.
I pretty much always read through all responses before replying.
It depends on the length of the thread. If it’s really long, I don’t typically read everything but I do at least scroll through to see if the OP has responded/clarified/provided any updates. Otherwise, whatever comment I’m making might be totally irrelevant.
i try to read them all if the responses are not just one big chuck of text.
I read until i start reading repeated thoughts. then i just go to the end.
Not usually. I’ll read the first few… Sometimes all if the thread is not too long.
It really depends. I try to, but if it’s a thread purely asking for individual opinions on something or a “show me” thread then probably not.
Depends on all the drama in the thread. I tend to read the really dramatic ones because they’re so entertaining. If there aren’t a lot of replies I usually read all of them regardless, though.
The topic ‘When you reply at a post, do you read all other posts first?’ is closed to new replies.
