I admit…I secretly am wanting to wear a ponytail on my wedding day…thing of it is though its not done very often. So, i’m curious to see what others think.
Do you think this hairstyle would look good for a wedding? and if so would it only be for a specific kind of venue/dres/etc or what?
and a similar one, but slightly more modern i think:

I like it! But it depends on your dress I think, if it is fancy/busy then go for it! If it is more simple then Iwould go with something more eyecatching and elaborate but I think its gorgeous!

I love the Reese Witherspoon hairstyle!! I think almost any hairstyle can be bridal. As long as you don’t just throw it up like a normal ponytail I think you could definitely make it work

I like the first one with a hair clip.

I wore my hair like that for my first wedding and loved it. It looked great in photos too.

That hair clip in the first one definitely says wedding to me!

That first hairstyle could definitely work for a wedding, especially if your theme revolves around the 1950’s. The second can work as well, but I would add a hair clip of some sort to add something to it.

I don’t like 1 because of that swoop thing but I love 2!

I love them too 🙂 not sure if they go with my theme/dress though, here is my dress, my hair is pretty long but I’m thinking if I did #2 I might need a bit of extensions?
I’ve been saying our theme was shbby chic glam, but truth be told I’ve revised that description to vintage rock and roll, i realize this may be hard to envision lol, but we are both into history and anything that has a past, plus rock music, anything from Skrillex to Elvis and Johhny Cash), we are getting married in a tiny country chapel, with a very informal reception.

I think both of these hair styles are stunning! They’re offbeat – different from most ‘bridal’ hair styles – but I actually think ponytails done like this are so classy. Love it!

I love the idea! I like #2 best 🙂

@beautifulmama28: To achieve the look in picture #2 you are going to need extensions. But it would look awesome! it’s definitely do-able!
