Life isn’t any easier just because they have lots of money.  More money generally equals more problems in my experience.  And there is an expiration date on how much money they are making, plus, ball players are hardly ever home for weeks on end during the season.  There are definite tradeoffs that come with having that much money.

@BrideToBe14:  Good lord. Get over it…and never tell your FI what your true feelings are or I dare say he may be the one dumping you.

I’m sure you already know this, but it’s time to count your blessings.  Coulda, shoulda, woulda is a complete waste of mental energy.

@BrideToBe14:  Being happy is wanting what you have…not having what you want. I know millionaires that are ready to throw themselves off buildings and “common folk” who couldn’t be happier.

@BrideToBe14:  I know my life would of been so much easier if I would of stuck it out with one of the other two guys I dated in college

Just because you wouldn’t have to work? Just because they have money, fame, etc doesn’t mean YOUR life would have been easier. Peole change as they attain more money and more fame, whether that be for the good or the bad. I wouldn’t want that lifestyle. Yeah to not have to give much thought to a purchase would be somewhat fantastic, but I value my time with DH, and if I were wish someone famous or making that much a year, I would lose out on the one thing I can’t put a pricetag on: my DH and his time.

@BrideToBe14:  …why do you need a man to give you the life you’ve always wanted?…if its all about the money, get out there and get it yourself!

@BrideToBe14:  Lol. I actually understand exactly where you are coming from…you are coming from a place of greed, envy and self-pity (Wah! wah! Why me? Why did I blow my big shot at being rich??!!! Wah!) And I find it pretty reprehensible actually. I go out of my way in life to avoid people with this mindset.

Sorry OP – no amount of backpedaling can make what you said in your original post look good.
