Reminds me of my mom. I think it is rather sweet, she wants to show you off and is very proud. Yeah, just laugh it off 🙂

Give the woman a break… It’s not a crime or a bad thing for a mother to be excited for her daughter.

My dad is that excited too! I had surgery about six weeks ago, and by the time they administered the anesthesia, the entire surgical floor (staff, doctors, nurses, patients) had seen a picture of my wedding dress. I thought it was really cute! It might feel a little funny at times, but she’s just really excited for you!!

I think that’s sweet!

My mum is pretty excited too. I’m e planning the wedding from the other side of the world, and my mum was offering to help. She was getting really excited about tasting the wedding cake – she started making plans to visit the city I’m getting married in with my little sister to go trying cakes. Only problem is she’s coeliac and my little sister is vegan and coeliac, so they’re probably not the best people for the job! Bless!

@jasonkatie2014:  Yup! Im thinking of doing cupcakes (I’ve found a bakery that does amazing pretty ones, and they do gluten free as well so there’s an option for my multiple coeliac relatives), and she likes the idea but she’s pretty fixated on the idea that I must get a small cake to cut too! I so don’t care about a cake cutting! She’s much more traditional than I am but she’s been pretty supportive so far.

Yeah, my dad was the same – especially in the week leading up to the wedding as we were buying last minute bits and pieces. Every staff member of every shop we went into was told that I was getting married on Saturday, and there were a lot of shops! Kinda awkward, but I’m glad he was so excited about it all 🙂

I’m looking forward to my mom acting like this, even though I know I will be embarrassed at the moment. It’ll be nice to see her get all excited (we’re incredibly close, and I’m an only child)

My mother is the total opposite! I mean, she is excited about the wedding, but she’s got three other kids (two still in the house and one living in the camper in our yard) to worry about so I don’t take it too personally. Your mom is probably just trying to bond with you and think it will flatter you. 🙂

@jasonkatie2014 Thanks! I can’t believe it is coming up so soon! And yeah, moms are interesting creatures! Haha. My mom has been instrumental in hotel booking, I couldn’t do all of that without her!
