(Closed) When/how to correct people when they call you the wrong name?

If it’s important for some reason or another that they know your full name correctly, then just mention that “my full name is now…” If it doesn’t really matter, then why bother!

Are you wanting people to introduce you as “First Maiden HisLast” and “Mrs. Maiden HisLast” on an every day basis?

hhhmhh… in that case I probably would have hyphenated.  If you really want people to use it you should make it part of your last name rather than an additional middle name.  But if you’re against doing that I would just make a point of correcting people in the moment.  “actually, it’s first maiden hislast”.  You will probably still have people drop it from time to time (especially if you have kids, their friends probably won’t use both names but they will call you Mrs. not your first name).  But hopefully people will respect your wishes once you have corrected them.
