I’m 22 and engaged. Headed off to law school in a different state than my FI so we are waiting until after that to get married. (That’s pretty frustrating lol). No pets. I love soccer!! I have played my whole life and I’m loving watching World Cup games everyday. Tell me about you!

I’m 24 and got engaged on April Fools day of this year (he’s a real joker *eyeroll*).

I’m about to start the new BeachBody program: PiYo (pilates, yoga) on the 7th, i’m excited. I need to get in shape for the wedding, I’m “skinny fat” lol

I also have two children from a previous relationship. So this summer if mainly just work and family <3 We are building a SWEET picnic table right now and I can’t wait for it to be finished!

Wedding planning is fun, a little stressful, especially the time aspect of the day of… OUr venue has a wedding the day before and so we don’t get to get in to decorate until the morning off and I’m so nervous it wont be enough time!

Hi! I’m 29 for another month and a bit only, eeeep. Hmm lets see. My husband is obsessed with soccer, so the World Cup has pretty much taken over my life for the month. I’m actually getting involved!! We have 4 cats, love to travel, and have season passes to Disneyland. At the end of the year we are going to Disney World for my first time WOO!!

As for exercise, I do crossfit, which I enjoy as much as I could enjoy any workout. If I could just sit on my ass and eat cheese all day without gaining 100 pounds I definitely would.

  • Wedding: September 2015

Hello! 🙂 I’m 21, fiance is 22. We’re getting married next September, and we’ve been dating for 4.5 years. Our wedding is taking place on a local museum property with a menu of breakfast foods + lots of coffee. Colors are navy blue, light pink, with touches of gold. I am basically DIYing EVERYTHING. Invitations, center pieces, table runners, favors, my weddinf dress sash, etc…so i’m happy for the long engagement lol.

I just started doing Bikram Yoga to get in shape for the wedding and MAN do I love it! Nothing like sweating your butt off (literally) in a 105 degree room full of total strangers 😉

CarolinaPeach13:  Hello! I’m 25 and was married on NYE this past year! I’m a teacher who is on summer break so the first time in years I’m enjoying a truly lazy summer. I was in a wedding a few weeks ago, my dad is marrying his partner on July 5, and then I’m hopefully going to NYC sometime this summer! My cousin is an actor and in a play on Broadway and I went to see it (it also helps that the play is based off of a book I really enjoy)! I’m getting my ass into better shape and am uping my gym time to 4-5 times a week. DH and I along with my family are going to Greece next June so we are starting research on good places to go! DH and I are also planning to try for baby #1 next July so we’re getting stuff going for that. Right now we are parents to our handsome (but moody at times) Snowshoe-Kenji.

My frustration: I love looking at homes (we’re not ready to buy-won’t be for a few years) and accidentily submitted “interest” on a condo. Now the realtor is involved…whoops.

brinny04:  haha I had a trainer at my gym tell me I’m under weight but without a whole lot of muscle so basically I’m a “skinny fatty”  Hate when that happens haha. I do have abs but I think they are just left over from when I used to play sports.

Oh yea, I’m 28 and got engaged almost 2 years ago. We were planning our wedding for this October but due to our busy schedule we’ve postponed it until next year (although, we haven’t ruled out eloping). I’m hoping to visit family this summer but for now we have trips around Europe coming up. We have a 2 year old dog. My hobbies include painting and, as of right now, watching HGTV home renos 🙂

I’m 24 and I got married 2.5 weeks ago. Do I still qualify? My husband and I are settling into life together somewhat bumpily! I just finished moving yesterday and I’m in the middle of a career change too! Talk about a frustration.

As far as exercise goes, I just jog and swim. No special program. But I like to keep active!

I turned 28 saturday and I’m engaged to my love whom I’ve know for 20 years. We’re getting married next year around this time, we haven’t set a date yet. I’m frustrated that I can’t seem to get on a weight loss plan.

I’m 21, just got married on Juine 7th! The honeymoon was my only fun this summer and it was amazing. Currently in my Master’s program for Speech Pathology which takes up all of my time and summer between class, clinic, and working. Back when I had time I liked scrapbooking and DH and I go for walks and bike rides on the trails by our house.

CarolinaPeach13:  don’t give up! I’m probably going to get my jd and mba together. I haven’t decided on the mba yet. Tips for the LSAT: definitely time yourself and take practices tests under teat day conditions! If you have any other questions feel free to message me. I’m going to WVU

Since you both are students, how do you finance yourselves? ( let me know if that a too personal. My FI and I worry about that)

  • Wedding: July 2014 - Barn

Hello! It’s great to read everyone’s stories. I agree, the 20s board is always dead.

I’m 22, my FI is 23 and we are getting married in 10 days!! So obviously I’m pretty excited about that 🙂 I have a degree in criminology but would like to go back to school for something more specific, such as social work or addictions counselling.

Right now I’m frustrated/ stressed because we’re moving to alberta after the wedding and it’s been a royal pain finding a house that accepts dogs and is in the country within driving distance of the city. We’re planning on renting and buying a house in the spring!

Looking forward to hearing more from you ladies!

  • Wedding: October 2014

Hi! 26 and engaged here. I work in higher education and my FI is a car salesmen (the non-sleazy kind;)). On top of planning our October wedding, we’re also looking for a house to buy! I kind of put wedding planning on the backburner due to the house hunt, but after we had a deal fall through a couple weeks ago (heartbreaking!) and then standing in FI’s sister’s wedding this past weekend, I realized how much more I still have to do for our wedding! So I’ve spent today setting up a cake tasting, scheduling my hair & makeup trial, outlining a schedule and list of shots for our photographer, contacting transportation services for quotes, researching bachelorette party locales, scheduling a meeting with our venue coordinator, and touching base with all of my bridesmaids. It seems like I’ve done so much more than I feel like I have when it’s all typed out like that haha.

As far as exercise goes, I REALLY need to get back into my routine. I love yoga, running, and weight-lifting and I’ve made it to the gym maybe twice in the past month, and totally blown off my yoga class. Sad. My diet has also taken a turn for the worst, so I plan on making a meal plan this weekend in addition to scheduling out my workouts for the next few months, I need something to hold me accountable!
