i feel like sept is such a tough month for a honeymoon because of hurricane season…i want to go somewhere beachy and tropical…
i thought about aruba bc it is outside of the hurricane belt…but fiance wants to do riviera maya mexico…i read that it rains 15 days out of the month and sept, oct are their wettest months…im not high maintenence but it would be a shame if most of our honeymoon was spent in the rain…the cost of mexico is very affordable which is why we are leaning towards that over aruba..but is it worth it?
we’re considering just taking the chance and hoping for nice rain…
any other suggestions for a sept honeymoon???

First off Happy Twin Wedding Date!!!
I saw this and wondered the same thing. This year my Fiance and I went to Punta Cana, DR. We had just missed the horrible rainy weather. Granted, it was later in September (the last week), but it was great! 80+ degrees and plenty of sun. I still have tan lines, lol. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Hi! I just got married September Second and we went to Moorea (Tahiti) and the weather was AMAZING!!! We stayed in the overwater bungalows at the Hilton and had an amazing time.

We went to the Florida Keys and didn’t even worry about hurricanes. Buuuuut we live on the coast anyway so it’s not something we stress about. Hotels can be canceled and most airlines allow for changes due to hurricanes.
