My fiance and I are going to Costa Rica Nov 18-29th! We were originally thinking of Europe, but in November its cold and rainy in most places, so we didn’t think it would be worth the $ to go there.

Were going to Mauritius! In 2016 though (oct/nov) but the Indian sea islands and parts of Africa and Asia are great that time of year!

We got married in June but will be going on our honeymoon Tomorow!! I know its not November but I figure its close enough.  We are heading to Portugal, Lisbon and then to the north (Porto) and will be staying there for 9 days.  The wheather seems to be between 19-26 C so its pretty reasonable and so are the prices given that its low season.

If you’re into culture, architechture and want to do lots of walking, exploring, visiting castles etc.. this might be an amazing place to consider.

Maldives for us! 😀

Europe would probably be a fairly cold, but a definite pro is that there will be fewer tourists and school kids around! We went to the UK last December and barely had to wait for any of the attractions. We did all the usual stuff in London as well as a road trip around the UK, visiting castles mostly. Some were closed over winter though, so we’ll have to go back in the summer.

We are doing a roadtrip where we’ll be staying in Indiana, Michigan & Illinois over 14 days. Our trip includes a casino, chicago, a secluded cabin right on the beach, and a very romantic luxury boutique hotel with an in-room pool.

Mrsjax213:  Were going to Alaska on a cruise through Glacier Bay and to see the Northern Lights!!

We are actually moving to Alaska a few months after the wedding so we’ll also be buying some land (our wedding present to us hehe) but we are NOT beach people. I think after 3 deployments- FI has seen enough sand to last him a lifetime!!

I didn’t go for my honeymoon, but I would definitely recommend Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. We opted to stay on the islands instead of taking a cruise (which saved us a ton of money) and took excursions around. We were lucky and got to see penguins and seahorses while snorkeling. The second leg of the trip was to Quito in the mountains and that was a fun city. They use the US dollar for currency so it makes it so much easier. And it’s a short flight and in the same time zone as Tx, so we didn’t have to deal with jet lag at all
