    Hi Bees!

so I've been reading reviews on Bridal Shops near and around Orange County (the Dresser, Bellasposa,Mariposa Boutique...) and there all have been mixed reviews.. I want to start looking at bridal gowns but i want to find the place to do so.  So bees tell me where you went and lets here your reviews on selections, staff, overall experiance....

Maybe you guys can help me find a good spot! ;)

I am in Los Angeles, but I visited the following places:

    1. Glamour Closet: designer samples at discounted prices, nice staff. The dresses are still 700-3000 dollars, though, and you really need to be a street size 2-6 to get a lot out of the experience.

    2. Lili Bridal: where I bought my dress! I found it in the "Back Room," where they keep discounted samples. I've heard mixed things about service, but I was the only one in the salon when I bought my dress so I was treated well. I did decide to take my dress elsewhere for alterations.

    3. Pebbles Bridal: pretty big selection of dresses, including discounted gowns. They don't take reservations, and I felt like my consultant was rushing me.

I loved Fernandales bridal in Orange. It is family owned and operated and the girls (daughters of the owner) were so incredibly sweet and helpful.

I also had a great experience at Jinny's in Huntington Beach.

Mon Amie was nice, but too expensive for me.  The place in Fountain Valley had a great sample selection, but the saleswomen were icky to deal with.  Mariposa in Anaheim was small and had a terrible selection.

I went to Alfred Angelo, David's Bridal and Bellasposa all in Rancho Cucamonga/Ontario.  I had no problems with Alfred Angelo or David's Bridal.  They had a good selection and the people were very helpful and friendly. Now the Alfred Angelo in Riverside was a different story, the ladies there were horribly rude and we left and went across to the street to David's Bridal where we proceeded to buy all the bridesmaids dresses.  Now as far as Bellasposa, that was the worst place I've ever been.  The ladies were rude, they were late for my appointment, they were not helpful in picking styles, they did not provide any undergarments (slip or bra) to try on dresses with and the lady did not help me put on the dresses.  I would avoid that place!

I went to David's but it just felt icky so avoid if you can.

I also went to Mon Amie and it was very nice but kinda tiny.

I ended up getting my dress in Beverly Hills at a closing Priscilla of Boston salon where I had a beautiful experience with knowledgable consultants who were super helpful...
    so sad they closed. :[

I think its all about what dress you're looking for... definitely go where your budget leads cuz I would have never made it up to the PoB Beverly Hills salon until I heard they were offering 75% off their bridal samples. ;]

I tried on dresses at a handful of places.  Depending on your budget, I'd highly recommend Erin Cole.  They were so incredibly nice and I just had the best overall experience with them. I truly felt that they were trying to find me "the dress" for me and they were not high pressure sales at all.  Kate was my bridal consultant and she was just incredible at selecting dresses for me. Erin Cole also has pretty much the best most beautiful accessories.

I also checked out Mon Amie and had a positive experience there too.  My bridal consultant had me try on lots of dresses and I believely genuinely wanted me to find the right dress as well.

The White Dress in CDM was also great. No complaints.

And because I had to know the difference betweena $$$$+ dress and a less expensive dress, I had to try David's Bridal.  I was pretty much horrified by my experience.  The dresses were okay, but I could see why they were so much less expensive than the other bridal salons.  However, the worst part was the staff.  I'm not sure if my bridal consultant was new or it was just her lack of experience, but I felt like she was constantly trying to push me into buying every dress I tried on.  And then after the appointment, she probably called me twice a week.  AND do not give them your real email address.  I've been contacted incessantly by vendors that David's Bridal has essentially sold my information to since this appointment!

@Soon2bMRSOLiVEiRA:  Good luck! Have you found one yet?  I also went to "The White Dress" in Corona Del Mar and they are lovely and its by far my favorite bridal salon in OC.
Its so pretty and the dresses are to DIE for! The staff are really lovely as well!

I went to Maripossa, Fullerton and Marry me Bridal, Orange. Both were amazing. Marry Me Bridal fit me in like really last minute and helped me out so much.
