    Hello Amy.

Bravobride.com and preownedweddingdresses.com have gowns that may be less expensive for you.

Definitely check here. Oncewed.com is really good. Also, ebay can have some good deals too! Good luck!

I guess it depends on your definition of "cheaper".  I can recommend Netbride.com, which is an online seller of designer dresses (real ones, not copies).  I ordered my Watters dress from them and saved a lot of money.  If you find a dress you like at a bridal store, you could probably order it from Netbride rather than paying the more expensive price at the bridal store.

I also think it depends on what your definition of cheaper is? I was looking for around $300-$500 or less for mine. That was cheaper to me. But for some Cheaper is $100 or even up to $1,000.

ESPECIALLY RIGHT NOW; bridal salons have lots of sales. I live in a small town with two bridal shops. They are both having either 70% off sales or they are cleaning house & have lots of dresses on sale for $99. I'd try all the websites that ladies have listed above & also try looking on craigslist like another said. It is definatly possible to find GREAT dresses for sale for cheap. I found lots for around $50 - $100 on craigslist & ebay. You just have to dig in and find them! Good Luck!!

I got lucky and got a sample I loved for $199- definitely check out Etsy & look at bridesmaids dresses that come in white or ivory. There are a ton of things you could add to jazz it up, a sash, jewels, accessories, a belt etc.

More generally, you might look at consignment stores.  They typically have less expensive dresses.  Plus, you can try on the actual dress you will be getting, and walk out with it the same day.

I agree with all the previous posters, these are the good sites. Also, believe it or not, Ebay and Craigslist have had some really nice wedding dresses. I have also heard of girls ordering from China, but I would be sure to do all my research if you went this route. Millie Bridal seems to get good reviews, but others like Peridress I have heard AWFUL things about.

You can always find a designer dress that you like and find a well reccomended business that makes designer replicas. I was reccomended to Olivia's bridal however I cant vouch for them. But if you get a good person it could be pretty close and your guests will never know what you paid for it.
