My mom is going to be making our table cloths (thank goodness I only have a few tables).
Unfortunately the tables are not a standard size, otherwise I would just rent.
I’m specifically looking for pintuck taffeta in a light pink.
Does anybody know where I can purchase this fabric? I’ve already tried Joann Fabrics and looked at several places online.
It really shouldn’t be this difficult for me to find, but for whatever reason I can’t find it!!

Are you near a large city? Most big cities (NY and Philly definitely do) have fabric districts. Many of these stores sell to the public and will give you a discount for buying as much fabric as you’re going to need.
That being said, most linen rental companies will make custom linens for you for non-standard tables (mine is, as I’m using 36" wide long tables). Are you sure it’s not worth renting? My mom really didn’t want the hassle of steaming the linens after they’re made (and pintuck is likely to wrinkle easily). Just a thought!

I typically see pintuck silk in fabric stores that carry mostly furniture and drape fabrics. There are plenty that are open to the public is larger cities. I live in a town of around a million and we have 4 or 5.
