If you want real quality (authentic) cowgirl boots, Justin Boots are fantastic. They are well made and extremely comfortable once you break them in. Ariat is another good brand. I haven't had cowboy boots from them, but I've worn what's called a paddock boot (ankle height, lace up) and they lasted really well and were comfy also.
Try Allen Boots for a good variety of several different brands/styles.
I wear my Ariat Fat Babys with everything. I love my boots! :-) You don't have a western store anywhere near you? Ariat and Justin are my favorites. I don't know what you're looking for, but go to ariat.com or justinboots.com.
@thelovecats: Yeah, we have a few Western Stores near me, I just haven't really found much that I liked. Hopefully I'll have better luck online!
@nurselindsey: When you go into stores don't be afraid to ask to look at catalogs. Most stores I have been to are more than happy to order boots in for me. The last pair I had to order my size. He said if they didn't fit I didn't have to pay anything, they would either keep at the store or return.
I agree with the Ariat suggestion. They make fantastic boots.
I only have the paddock boots (and have been through 3 or more pairs of them in the past 10 years due to horseback riding). I also have their flip flops.
Their boots are really well made and they LAST!
Oh - I'd love to find some cute boots as well! I'll be checking those sites out too!
Ariats are good. Justins are awesome. Luccheses are my favorites, but they're a little more pricey that Ariats & Justins. There's a new line of Luccheses called "Diva" that are really cute, but I definitely wouldn't go to a cattle sale in them as they aren't really practical for actual farm work. They're stylish though!! I also have a pair of Tony Lamas that are very very comfortable! Hope this helps a little!! Just google the brands and you'll find their websites!
Oh!! Just saw that you are from Bama..me too! I know a great Western Store in North AL.
@laktolkr: Awesome! I haven't met too many Bama bees yet! What part of Bama are you from? And ROLL TIDE! :) lol
Thanks for all the advice ladies!
I can only attest to the Ariats, so far I've got 3 pairs! They are so comfortable I can wear them everyday. =)
I agree with the catalog suggestion. You are bound to find something you like than just settling for what's in the store.
try rentonwesternwear.com-- they have lots of coupons-- but beware cowboy boots are made for thin calves. You might need to consider mens boots
Target has a Mossimo pair for $29.99.

@nurselindsey -North bama, what about you?...& yes, ROLL TIDE! I'm so ready for Friday!!
I love Frye. (Spendy, I know :/) Also, Sundance Catalog has some really cute ones.
@laktolkr: I'm a South Alabama bride, but I just had to say, ROLL TIDE!
@laktolkr: I'm from the Birmingham area! And yes, I can't wait for Friday!!
@SouthernGirl: Awesome! Another Bama bride. Glad you're not an Auburn fan!! Haha
@retreadbride: Thanks, I'll check that website out. I have relatively small calves so hopefully I won't have a problem with womens :)
I'm from a farm in Oz, and as a girl who's went through about 2 pairs of boots a year since birth, I'd definitely recommend checking out Sheplers.com!
Lucchese has THE BEST boots!

This is a completely random question, I know. My parents recently moved on a farm and I'd love some cute cowgirl boots to wear when I come visit. Anyone know of any good websites/stores I can find some?
