I know CL's are gorgeous...
.but I can't justify spending that much on them..(plus no raise this year yet...lol) and I instead went for a marciano evening heel that is a few hundred less but found it on ebay brand new in box for 100 less than the actual cost. (was originally over $300)
Check ebay and also check and see if there is another designer shoe that makes even better financial sense.
These gorgeous marciano shoes are on sale for $90!

LzzNYC - You could totally make those (or something quite similar!). Look for a pair of cheap, strappy sandals at Nine West, etc. Perferably a pair that has a strap that goes right up the middle of your foot & attached to the ankle strap.
Look for posts on weddingbee that show a DIY hair flower tutorial & modify it for your shoes. I think it's brilliant. ![]()
Hmm...maybe I'll make a pair and post it - those shoes are GORGEOUS!
YES! quiche is totally right! These are DIYable gorgeousness!
I found these beautiful t-straps at J. Crew that would be perfect (and they're CHEAP!):
And depending on your skiiilz you could either make some silk petaly flowers for the t-strap, or if you're DIY impaired you could contact one of the many sellers on Etsy who make hair flowers and see if they'll do a special order... I was thinking of attaching with elastic or a piece of really soft fabric on the bottom of the flowers (velvet!).
If you're red sole obsessed and have to have the originals I think ebay or craigslist are your best bet. I've been stalking these shoes for awhile and they haven't appeard on any of the normal lux discount sites (bluefly etc.), and net-a-porter isn't stocking that style at all, and they're usually among the best for CL.
*Note* The sites chicagoseattle mentioned are great, but don't stock Louboutin :-(... just an FYI before you go trawling for them there... I already did :P
As you're wedding's in September, you've got a bit of time to see if they go down (haunt Barneys and Bergdof's websites)... but my guess is they will go down in late July/August as the Autumn lines come in (I hope for your sake I'm wrong)...
Good luck! Let us know (especially if you DIY them)!
OH! Forgot to mention (ha... you can't get rid of me!), my new fave online shop for shoes (and probably everything else) is www.yoox.com. I got my wedding shoes there! They've got an amazing selection!
Also www.shopstyle.com is great b/c it searches a whole range of shops for you... i.e. enter the search term white (or ivory, pink, whatever color you want for your shoes), narrow it down to shoes, style of shoes etc. and it will pull up hundreds of options from different sites.
I ordered my Jimmy Choos from Shirise for about 50% off retail. They have a ton of designer shoes on sale. Free shipping and no sales tax too since I don't live in the state that their store is located in. I've heard that they have bad customer service but I had no problems with them whatsoever.
You girls are awesome!!! THank you!!! haha so I started the thread but didn't know how to go back to see the responses til now!.... =)

They are absolutely beautiful Christian Louboutin but no way in the world would I pay close to a grand for a pair of shoes. Do you know where I can start to search for something this fun but affordable? - I've already searched Zappos and DSW.
