prettyinpink11:  +1. I think this is good advice Re purchasing setting only. It’s hard to tell the value for $4,500.00 without knowing whether or not it’s certified and verifying the specs.

I would be wary of an Si2 center stone. For uncertified diamonds, the sellers tend to be generous with the grading they give their diamonds. I’d be worried about visible inclusions.

I would have a custom jeweler create the ring from scratch. Some custom jewelers to get a quote from would be Schubach, David Klass ([email protected]) and Amcor.

msformaldehyde:  Share a pic! I have heard great things about him and seen some beauties on this site. Schubach does great work too, but their pieces seem a bit pricier.
