I have been looking online and don’t really want to pay $2 plus shipping for faux wax seal sticks. I did find some discounted because they had black specs in them. The shipping was a little high (especially for four glue sticks). I was just wondering if there were any stores I might be able to find these at?

Is it really that time consuming to just do them yourself? I had one once andI loved it but in all honestly the damned thing NEVER stayed on by the time it got to it’s destination it had usually chipped or whatever in the mail, maybe I just had a cheapy one.

I am planning on doing it myself. I want the faux wax seals that fit in the glue gun. We were going to do real wax but have read a lot on real wax breaking open and/or smearing in the machines at PO.

Have you checked michaels or joanns? I thought I saw some there once, but not positive. Maybe call around to some stationary specialty shops.

We got some from Michaels but ended up hating it and thinking it looked cheap so we decided against it. Maybe you will have better luck than we did.

I read on the “other” site about a girl who made faux wax seals using a hot glue gun. Basically she had someone make a hand carving into a wooden dowel. Then made pressed the dowel into some of the hot glue. Then she spray painted them a copper color.
