Well, it's double what you want to spend, but Boston Store has them on sale for $9.98 (I wish I'd waited because they have the perfect color on sale - instead I'm stuck with an okay color because I bought too soon from an online retailer). Not sure if they have a Boston Store in your area though. When I was in San Fran this past weekend, they had really cheap ones in Chinatown. Might be a place to look if you have a neighborhood near you.
If you were in NYC I would say Chinatown. YOu can easily pick some up for less than $5 each. Are you close enough to the Chinatown in LA or San Fran? I think there's one in both cities....
Bella.....Have you checked some stores that sells knock off purses and other accessories? They usually have wraps/scarves at a cheap price. There’s once in mall by my house that sells it for $5 + tax (that’s one of the things I bought for my bride’s maids, too!).
Unfortunately we don't have a Bostone Store :( I'm just south of Fresno, CA if that helps..
I'm about 3hrs from chinatown in SF. I wish I had thought of this sooner. They DO have awesome deals on things like that... darn
I bought mine off of ebay! They were .99 and 3.99 shipping. They are a little thin, but pretty nice. They're a good size.
Thanks zippylef! I'm kicking myself right now for not thinking of this sooner. Those come from Hong Kong so they probably wouldn't make it in time :( my fault!

I've bought some cute ones from AC Moore and Target for less than $15. They're not real pashmina but are still very soft and have held up very well with time.
@Bella- Mine came in less than a week. The shipping was insanely fast.
Have you ever tried Bijoix Terner? They have pashminas, clutches & other accessories. Everything is ten dollars per item.

Check stores like, Ross, Marshalls, TJ MAxx and Burlington Coat Factory. I've seen a bunch of them there recently.

P.S. Another thing to try is maybe a "99ct Store". You know those own by Asians where nothing in the store is really 99cts.

@Gerbera- you're too sweet :) I looked all over the place this weekend. Ross, Marshalls, Target, even a store called "earrings and gifts" (which sounds a lot like the 99ct store you're talking about haha) The most inexpensive ones I could find were $14/each :( I have 8 girls to buy for and I've already spent a lot on their gifts so I didn't get them. The weather forcast is looking better for this weekend so hopefully they wont need them! I'll feel awful if they do.

I've already purchased and put together my bridesmaid gifts, but in watching the weather I realized that it might be a little chilly for them in their strapless dresses. So I'd like to add some black pashminas/wraps/whateveryoucallthem.
I hadn't originally budgeted for this so I can't really afford to spend much. I was hoping to maybe find some for less than $5. Am I dreaming?!
I'd prefer not to buy them online since my wedding is in 8 days (eek!). I have horrible luck when it comes to packages arriving on time.
So I guess I'm just asking if you've seen any nice looking pashminas at any stores for a good price lately. Thanks!
