I did my own for about 50.00 and they were SUPER cute! I was inspired by MagnetStreet.com and the save the date magnets, but didn’t want to spend the money.

I used overnightprints.com to print the top layer and order a matching size self-adhesive magnet from neilenterprises.com. I did the bookmark size save the dates SUPER simple to assemble!

I made ours and we just emailed them to cut costs.

You can find templates on MS Word or Publisher.

I did ours in Publisher. I searched “Save the Date” and it came up with a few templates. I then changed the info to our names, location, etc… and changed the colors to match (pink). I saved it in PDF form and emailed it out.

We got ours through vistaprint for just a few dollars.  I designed something in powerpoint and then uploaded the image, but I think they have templates you can use, if you didn’t want to completely design your own.  Then I used their 100 free postcards deal and got them all for just the price of shipping.  The print quality ended up very nice and I was super happy with it.  I ordered postcard sized envelopes from another website 100 for $15 and got some magnetic tape from hobby lobby that I put on the back.  All in all we only spent about $30 for 100 save the dates.  (minus postage)  They weren’t the fanciest things out there, but I’ve gotten several compliments and I liked the way they turned out.  Plus you can’t beat FREE when you’re working on a budget.

This is the image I uploaded… I rounded the corners on the postcards too and that made them look a bit more finished.

I bought a super cute design off of Etsy (super cheap to buy the digital files) then printed them at home. It’s pretty resonable if you print it yourself!

The ever popular http://www.vistaprint.com always has magnets, cards and postcards and they are reasonable

you can also get photo cards through sites like snapfish and shutterfly and they are usually less than $.50 a card with envelope

We went with magnetsreet as well. We did the the postcard option. I also did a search for magnet street coupon codes and ended up saving 15% on the order. It definitely made a huge difference! I loved that we could control colors and font type.

Here’s our example:

I was at Marshall’s last weekend and they had the Bride’s line of products including Save-The-Date Cards where you insert a photo. They were make of nice cardstock that you put through your printer to personalize and then had the corners cut out for a photo (or whatever). The were super cheap and they had the matching Thank you notes and invites as well. I saz a black and white option and something involving chocolate brown and something with a blueish green shade. I didn’t look too closely as i didn’t need any but worth a try if you are looking for somehting that’s cheap but does not look cheap.

We did photo Save-The-Date Cards through the Kodak website.  We really loved how ours turned out, but I don’t have a picture to show you.  Ended up getting 130 for under $100.  And they were super cute!

I used Vistaprint for free postcards and free large magnets (though I designed them two to a magnet).

Ended up spending $57 for 200, though I really only needed like 120.
