Hi Hive!  Need help...where can I find heavy blue paper? The blue paper needs to match this ribbon:

The invitations I'm ordering are on flimsy paper, so I'm going to paste the flimsy paper on heavy teal/aqua colored paper. Does anyone know where I can find this heavy paper? I don't want a dark teal like Mrs. Cupcake's...something more aqua...

    Thanks, Hive!!

    AC

    Hi Crebre80,

Yea, they don't have the color I'm looking for! Otherwise, those invitation mats would have been perfect...

    Thanks,

    AC

Yup, looked at paper and more - they don't have the color I want. The teal is too dark... :(

hmmm i am hoping some other bees chime in, but i don't think any of the guests would notice if it was slightly off (although i understand wanting it to be an exact match, i am TOTALLY like that)

Looks like stardream metallic in malachite or emerald might be close.  Not sure what specific type of paper you're looking for but paper-papers has almost everything.

I like paper-paper's Terrestrial Teal, but it only comes in 65#. Is that thick enough to be an invitation mat? I was hoping to find something 80# and above. What do you think?

I think 65lb is ok for layering, maybe not on its own.
