@oneyearout:

I tried on a pair of Angela Nurans at a local bridal salon…. I heard the hype and was not that impressed actually.  The strap over the toe cut into my foot and rubbed weird. The sales lady at the store said some women had noted the same problem too.  And the shoes were wobbly…like they weren’t balanced well. But that could have been that one pair.  For the price and the hype, it was a no go for me. I wanted shoes that were comfy straight out of the box for my 12 hour wedding day.

@oneyearout I have a pair and they aren’t worth the hype honestly. By hour 2 I could hardly walk, my feet were killing me and I couldn’t feel my little toe. I wouldn’t buy again, there are much more comfy shoes out there for a fraction of the cost.

@oneyearout:

I went with a pair of real ballroom dance shoes by Werner Kern.  I went to WorldTone dance shoe store in NYC…it is a huge store with an incrediable selection of dance shoes.  I think I tried on 40 shoes before I narrowed it down to my pair.  I went to WorldTone because most dance shoes are not returnable.

Here is my pair…. they were very comfy!  I wore them for 12 hours and didn’t remember feeling ANY pain the entire day.   I think I paid around $150…but I think they are actually closer to $200.

@oneyearout:  Sorry no advice on comfy heels since I was stuck wearing those for the event I was at. I’d just go to a big store and try on tons of shoes, if they pinch at the store, feel wobbly or hurt in any way…try another pair, they probably won’t get any better!

Also yes it is a Big Bang Theory name… Bazinga… my fav show.

I have a pair and everything was great with them except for one very important thing. I got a peep-toe pair and maybe my feet are to broad or something (doubt it), and the side of my big toes just rubbed up against the opening. After the ceremony and our group photos, I took them off. If the shoes were open-toed, then I bet it would have been just fine. Other than that, they are mighty comfortable!
