I actually found something that was great for the wedding night at Marshall’s (kind of like TJMaxx) Not sure if you have those in Australia, but it’s kind of a multi-brand outlet store. I was planning to buy something from Victoria’s Secret, but this was decent quality and was super cheap so I just couldn’t pass it up.

You could always also try Frederick’s of Hollywood, Etsy, 3 wishes, or Spicy Lingerie. Also, I think Pinupgirlclothing has langerie, but it’s been a while since I looked there. If you want super expensive, Coco de Mer is super interesting. (I drool over some of their things, but can’t afford any of them).

Good luck!

@Lollybags:  I will be getting mine from the bridal section of the a Trashy Lingerie website. My FI asked for something “white with a garter belt” (he didn’t know the actual name of it, but it was cute to hear him try and describe it). Soooo… There you have it. Lol

He also mentioned a sexy white baby doll, which I will be getting from VS and saving for the honeymoon.

I’m an Aussie Gril myself I live in Melbourne , for my first wedding I found some really nice stuff in myer and David Jones.  Also Peter Alexandra has some nice things but you have to keep looking because they don’t have them all the time. Target also has a nice range of special night time stuff now that their summer range is coming in.  Also don’t forget bras and things they can have some nice things in the summer.  Hope this helps you out a bit.

I always order lingerie from Adore Me–not sure where they ship to though, as I’m in the US. It’s one of those sites where you have to sign up, and then they automatically charge you unless you skip the month. Kind of dumb, but as long as you remember to skip the month when you don’t want to buy anything, their stuff is inexpensive, fairly high quality, and they always have great sales!

I find it’s really expensive to ship stuff from the states. It’s lots cheaper to ship stuff from China or othe Asian countries I guess cause they are a lot closer but their sizes can be quite off.

What City are you in or biggest reaginal town near you? It might help to know what stores there are around. I know when I lived in ballarat they had different stuff in their stores compaired to Melbourne but you could order stuff in.  Maybe if you looked at the stock in the big city stores then ask them to order it in for you?

Oh I see. Yeah a lot of the bigger city’s and towns have all the shops but just not the range that we get in the shops.  I would leave it till the post Xmas sales.  They will have lots then because they will have all the Christmas stuff and it will be half the price.  Also while you are in Melbourne look around all the little shops in town that sell pj’s and stuff they often have cute little things that might be what you are after. Good luck.

First Wedding (circa 1980) I got my White Peignoir Set from a Department Store (lol, big dramatic entrance and all)

This time round…

I skipped all that… also knowing full well that I’d no doubt come back to the room have a long hot shower wash 18 Lbs of Hairspray out of my hair, and then just want to lounge around in a comfy Hotel Robe sipping Champagne (which is exactly what we ended up doing)

So instead I opted to buy sexy stuff for the Caribbean Cruise Honeymoon itself… far more fun to throw on something cute and crazy (matching bra & panty sets) under my clothes in the morning, and drive Mr TTR nuts knowing we had somewhere to go… Island Tour, Dinner, a Show… and him thinking about what I had on underneath… and of course I “worked that” at times.

Anticipation is a great way to ramp up one’s sex life !!

I also bought a few chemises, baby dolls, etc (take virtually no space when one is packing).  I did all my shopping this time at La Senza = http://www.lasenza.ca  (Canada’s answer to Victoria Secret… we are just starting to get VS Stores here)

Hope this helps,
