After trying to grow my hair for years (and making barely any progress) I’ve decided to invest in some hair extentions.
I live a long way away from any shops that sell reasonably priced, decent, real human extentions, so it’s looking like online might be the way to go. I’m looking for clip in remy extentions, at least 20′ (would prefer 22′) and 160g.
Any recommended sellers/websites?
Also, how did you figure out what colour to buy?

I have ordered all of mine from Ebay as well as any of my friends’ extensions. I’ve just picked a color that looked the closest. The colors for hair extensions are kind of universal, so #4 brown is the same #4 brown you would find at a store that sells extensions. So if you can at all visit a store that would have samples you could compare and then order the same color online. Much cheaper online. I’ve never had an issue with a single set and I’ve had several, in different lengths and colors.

I bought mine from luxyhair.com. They are 20″-22″. Can’t remember which. I thought they were too long (and got fried looking just after a couple uses ) so I cut them. I just use them curly sot they look fine. I ordered dark brown, however when I got them they looked really reddish. Since there are so many different colors and highlights in them, they blended with my hair just fine. However, since I dyed my hair dark brown, they had too much red in them for me to wear. They sat in my closet for months until I decided to buy a box of dye and dye them to match. Super easy to do, just a little messy. They are 120 grams and were $120 at the time but now $129. I have thinner hair so the 120g set was so much hair for me. When my hair gets longer, I just wear one or two wefts to give me volume. Here is a pic

My stylist got them and put them in. I think if you want a professional (natural)look that is the best way to do it.

I spent a morning early last week researching this online to find the best extensions. I bought extensions from Hair Secrets which is a company in Austraila. They had the best reviews across the board from everyone. They have 30 different colors and two different sets you can buy, one if you just want a boost to fine hair and the ultimate volume set. If you send them a few pictures of yourself they will match your hair color for you too. I get them next week so I can let you know how they work out! Here is the website. http://www.hairsecretsextensions.com
If you google them you can find a few review videos too!

I went with Luxy Locks as well. I also tried Foxy Locks, and I like the Luxy better. I knew I couldn’t match my ash blonde hair with their existing colors, so I bought one that close and took it to my hair dresser to get them color matched and trimmed to look natural in my hair.
