The samples that I ordered looked cheap to me also, so I DIYed mine. You may want to consider DIYing yours too. If you do, you can use a much higher quality of paper and get exactly what you want.
@sgwed: I'm a real big fan of vistaprint.com. The prices are excellent and the quality is great. They offer 50% discounts and free shipping very often. I would suggest getting one of their wedding sample packages. I'm ordering mine from their and jazzing them up with some ribbon.
Must must must look at www.letterpresslight.com
Her stuff is beatiful, good prices, and Heather is awesome!
Me & FH couldn't find anything we liked that was within what we were willing to spend for something most people trash - other than mothers, grandmothers and a few people, who actually KEEPS your invites anyways. So I got with our photographer and had her create some invitations from our engagement pictures. The front, inside, and back cover have our e-pics on them. And her price was very good for what we are getting - plus, since there are lots of our pictures on them and they aren't just paper invites, maybe more people will keep them too! If you already have a photog & e-pics you might consider that!
I diy mine in photo shop, whith a designer help, and I will print them in a kinks or copy place.
I got mine at michaels, they were very friendly on the wallet and look beautiful! i would also check out target, they have really pretty ones!
I ordered ours through www.moiradesignstudio.com I choose them because i liked that their prices varied based on the inclusions you wanted - we wanted someone who would do the mounting, envelope liners, and calligraphy in house and they do all that. OR you can order the minimum and do some of the work yourself - like semi DIY
@Naiexoxo me too.
I bought my pocketfolds and envelopes from https://www.paperandmore.com/
If you have money to spend, then TRUST me you can find absolutly divine invitations. You just need to go to the right place. I got mine from Bella Figura, letterpress and just drop-dead gorgeous.
If you have a small budget, but dont want to compromise in quality, then I'd say etsy is the way to go. You get high-quality paper and design and a much lessor cost then most pro shops.
www.heatherobriendesigns.com did ours and they were AMAZING!!!
We used Rexcraft. I ordered them online and got a discount. :D I'm so happy with them. They look fabulous. They're exactly what I wanted.
by the way we ordered "Flawless"
I ordred mine from http://www.minted.com/ I thought they were awesome. The cardstock was great quality and the service and delivery time was very good as well. I had them in less than 10 days. And there were no mistakes. I would recommend them, and I am planning to purchase my Christmas cards from them too.
I got mine from eInvite (and I went through Costco to save 20%). They gave me great service and were willing and able to put the layout I liked from one invitation on the paper I liked from another. I went through four PDF proofs on which I made several changes on each with no additional charge.
Pinks: http://www.einvite.com/wedding/wedding-invitations/modern/?color=Pink
Oranges: http://www.einvite.com/wedding/wedding-invitations/modern/?color=Orange
Regarding quality, a heavier paper weight almost always says better quality. At eInvite you can search by paper weight.
I second LetterpressLight. I got my invitations from her and then ordered stationary for our thank you notes. Very fast and GREAT products!
www.crane.com FI had seen their stationary in shops before so suggested it. He also wanted something elegant, traditional and simple. We ordered this one. It's letterpress and their paper was SO thick. 220 lb - that meant nothing to me... maybe as thick as a leather bookbinding. looks anything but cheap!
I had Christy with LittleLadybugPress make them. She is a graphic artist out of NM who does this on the side. Mine turned out exactly how I wanted them to and they were really reasonably priced. She will also sell you a digital file instead if you want to print them yourself. We did that for our rehearsal invites but had her print the actual invites. Was perfect!
Michaels!
They were actually programs that i changed into invitations :)
@sgwed:I actually designed my own and then ordered them from VistaPrint. They're a little cheaper than a lot of other companies, and I was honestly really impressed! I got linen finish and really love them!
I used www.mixbook.com
You can upload photos and design your own. I use this company quite a bit and have never been disapointed.

So over looking for wedding invitations. I have ordered several samples from various companies, and I am finding that many of them look cheap in person. I need help finding a good source to order invitations! My colors are pink and orange. I would like to find something that incorporates both colors. However, pink would be fine too.
