Where did you buy your moissy?

My ring’s from Moissaniteco.  They had some of the best prices, and my ring’s a pretty basic setting, so I think in cases like that Moissaniteco’s great.  My ring’s also 3.5mm stones, so going for best stone quality isn’t as much of an issue for such a small size.

If i was going for a large stone or one of the fancy cuts, where stone quality shows more, I’d probably order through Schubach’s.  I’d also order through them if I was getting a Pave ring (quality matters more with pave), or something custom.

I bought mine preloved but it was originally purchased from Moissaniterus on ebay. 🙂

All of mine is from Schubach’s.  I have sold my white moissy now though and only have pink left.  😉  They price match, I think most vendors do really, so I would go with whomever you like and see if they will match prices.

@FutureMrsHolmes:  I got mine from our small town local jewler. He ordered it in from his rep. We got a 6.5mm/1ct stone, and side stones (not sure total carat weight) all stones in total cost us $500.

@FutureMrsHolmes:  thanks!  I’m very happy with it – it’s low profile, too.

I got my smaller pieces from MoCo. My bigger/expensive pieces are from Schubbies. If I were overly concerned with color I would def. go with Schubach’s.

I just bought my first piece of moissanite – a Forever Brilliant radiant cut that I’m going to get set into a custom made ring. Anyway, I got it from LK Jewelry Designs (they’re a C&C approved vendor) and they were awesome. I don’t hear many people talking about them on the bee (and I’ve been lurking for a little while) but I had a really good experience. ‘Ruth’ was the lady I dealt with and she was lovely and hand picked a pretty stone for me. My purchase was really small in the scheme of things (though a huge deal to me) but they treated me like a really valued customer. Super fast shipping (less than a week to New Zealand), nice stuff, etc. I would have a look! For the record I’m not affiliated with them at all but I was so thrilled that I’m raving about them everywhere! This is their site (they have sell on ebay as well with 100% feedback) http://www.lkjewelrydesigns.com/Default.asp

Helzberg Diamonds sells moissanite now, but they don’t carry it in store I was sad to find out. They can order it for you though if you’re looking to get something at a brick and mortar.
