heatherdanyel:  What are you looking for? I’m sure most brides bought their supplies or decor from a anumber of different sites.

Hubby and I did a lot of stuff on the cheap but some stuff was a fortune! What is your theme? Mine was rustic/primitive/whimsical. We did a lot of antiquing, yard sales, even taking broken things from the curb and repairing them!

We got a bunch of stuff from Etsy (: I also LOVED Shop Sweet Lulu! https://www.shopsweetlulu.com/ and BHLDN. Most of our stuff was DIY though (: If you want to see pictures of stuff we did, feel free to check out my recap thread!

I used koyalwholesale.com, etsy, michaels, consumercrafts.com. I had a pearls and glitter theme and got a lot of ideas off pinterest for decor. I had no mason jars or burlap either 🙂

I used save-on-crafts.com and Michaels (Hello 40-50% coupons!).

Itr really depends on what you want to do. I’m using some things that our reception venue is supplying, and am just getting extra stuff to add to them from Michaels (to the vases, mainly). Fake flowers will go in some vases on varioustables, which also came from Michaels. I have made a couple signs that will be placed in various spots – and that is about it. My decorating is very low-key – as I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it.

heatherdanyel:  THE CHRISTMAS TREE SHOP!!!  Our decor is simple – lots of mason jars, lace, burlap, all that rustic crap.  CTS had a ton of items as well as Michaels and Etsy.  Those were my go-to’s.

I haven’t been in there myself but my mom said Hobby Lobby is a DIY’ers wonderland!

heatherdanyel:  we rented almost all of our decor from our florist since they were mostly part of the centerpieces and other florals. It was pretty cheap and easy since they set it up and took it down. If you show your florist/potential florists your ideas, they can probably do any ideas you have! I was totally confused about this kind of thing too, and was so relieved to find that most decor falls into the florist’s job. They will make it look really put together!
