All I can seem to do is a google search or read reviews on the knot, wedding wire, here ect.
I have an adverse reaction to cheesy wedding djs and I’m worried that that is all I will find. How do you know?!?!
I’m also terrifed I’ll find some one that doesn’t listen to us when we give him a list of do not play and must play.
Finding a dj will probably be my most frustrating wedding related search.

I found mine by doing a Google search as well. I did ask around to see who my friends used, but I just found five or six dj’s in my area and then called to get prices. We needed to stay below a grand for the dj, so basically it was find the people below a grand and pick from there. When one dj told me if I actually wanted to have a “nice” wedding, I needed to up my entertainment budget by at least a thousand dollars, I knew he wasn’t for me.
The person I chose was insured, gave me a contract, had backup eqipment and backup djs just in case. I was a very laid-back bride, so it was nice to find someone who was like, “Okay. We need to meet this day and this day to discuss this and that.” He was very patient because I was like, uh, I don’t really care about a lot of it lol.

The boutique I bought my wedding dress from, my photographer, and my venue all had lists of other vendors. Do you have anything else booked yet? Wedding vendors all know each other.
