If you aren’t staying in that room after the wedding I’m sure someone would be willing to take your things to wherever you are staying.

WE got ready in a hotel but my mom was still staying in the room that night and we were staying at the same hotel in a different room.

We took our necessities bags with us and put them in the bridal suite. Which is what I have done in every wedding I”ve been. Took them with and stored them at each location.

At the last wedding I was in some of the spouses that weren’t in the wedding were nice enough to transport our bags to the reception site and put them in the bridal suite there while we finished photo’s.

We got ready in the church! I’d have each of your girls bring a tote bag, and stick all their stuff in it when they’re done getting ready!

I rented a hotel room for Friday and Saturday night. All my girls will be there to get ready Saturday morning, and house keeping will come straighten it up during the wedding and transform it to honeymoon status before we return

@beachbridebc:  yes. We were actually about 3 hours away at a popular vacation spot so she booked the room from weds through Monday and there was a rotation of various people staying there through the week lol. The night before the guys went and stayed in another room and the girls stayed in the room my mom had booked with me.

Most weddings I’ve been in wether in town or not the bride rents a room and we stay together for girls night the night before then get ready at the hotel or wherever the next day

I booked a suite for wedding night, rehearsal night and my bachelorette the night before the rehearsal. That’s where I got read. The hotel was dated and not fancy or super pretty.  But it was cheap and I got a big suite, which was important since a lot of people came and went throughout the morning while I was getting ready.

I  originally planned to get ready at my dad’s house. But since we had a backyard wedding, my DOC recommended that i get ready at the hotel so that it was less stressful. Which was absolutely the best call. Once I went to the hotel room to get ready, I simply didn’t worry about wedding set up anymore. I just had fun. The DOC had one question that she really had to ask of me and me alone and she called. No big deal. And she handled everything else. And I giggled and ate and got my hair done with my girls. And some guys. And some family. And a few babies. Yeah. It was pretty awesome!

I got ready at my parent’s house, where there was a ton of natural light and counter space for makeup mirrors, hair stuff, etc.  One of my BM’s fiancee took my bag to my hubby’s room at the hotel when he dropped my BM off.  Easy peasy.

We got ready at the church. I think it worked best since our photgrapher and videographer didnt have to drive!

@beachbridebc:  Yes, i have already booked 2 nights in the hotel in one of their suites.

They have assured me the room will be “wedding night ready” The country club where we are getting married offers a wedding night package at this specfic hotel, which is why i picked it.

The hotel says they do this regularly.

@beachbridebc:  I’ll be getting dressed at our hotel room. My parents will probably have stayed the night in the same hotel as well, so they’ll probably carry everything I need (including the reception dress) for me.

On the reception site (tent), I can go inside the house to change and make little touch ups to my makeup.
